“I’m sorry. There’s no heartbeat.”

I remember seeing the second pink line come up on the test. Instantly, I was in love. Spending time thinking about what my baby would look like & the things they would accomplish became my favorite hobby. Then I heard, “I’m sorry, there’s no heartbeat.” Lost & alone, I wasn’t sure what to expect outside of physical pain. I was not prepared for what would come.

If you have found yourself in a similar situation or learned your baby has a fatal condition, I’m here. I am so sorry that you are experiencing one of the most painful times of your life. As a bereavement doula, I provide support during your birth regardless of how many weeks pregnant you are. I will support you mentally, physically, & emotionally. Support is available 24/7.
